đź’°OpenSats Receives $10 Million from Jack Dorsey to Supercharge Bitcoin, Nostr, and Open-Source Freedom!
Great news, folks! OpenSats got a whopping $10 million from Jack Dorsey's #startsmall initiative. What's the plan, you ask? They will pump it into free and open-source projects, like Bitcoin and nostr, to keep society from falling into a digital dystopia. With OpenSats keeping things 100% pass-through, you know that cash goes straight to the projects that matter.
Guess what? Half of that sweet donation is dedicated to the nostr ecosystem. They've even got a committee of nostr wizards like fiatjaf and NVK to pick out the best projects. Oh, and NVK and Gigi are joining the OpenSats board to help make some smart moves.
So, buckle up, friends - we're about to see some real freedom tools being built. Like Eric Hughes said, "Let us proceed together apace. Onward."

🇺🇸 US Presidential candidate RFK Jr. Stands Up for Bitcoin: Preaches Privacy and Freedom!
Presidential hopeful Robert Kennedy Jr. ain't havin' none of that Biden administration's 30% tax on Bitcoin mining energy proposal. He's all about defending the Bitcoin game, saying it's an innovation powerhouse, and there's no way Uncle Sam should put the brakes on it. He's got a point, too—energy concerns might be a thing, but c'mon, video games use the same juice and nobody's crying foul on that front. The whole "save the environment" spiel? Just a sneaky tactic to crush anything that messes with the elites' power play.
RFK Jr. knows what's up: privacy isn't just for the bad guys. We're talking about ordinary folks and those pesky dissidents too. Governments love to flex their muscles by controlling bank accounts and payment platforms, but Bobby's preaching the gospel of cash and Bitcoin for our freedom. And you know what? A diverse economy with a whole bunch of currencies is just like a biodiverse ecosystem—resilient and robust.
