🌎 Strike Revolutionizes Global Bitcoin Payments with 65 New Countries
Strike, the global bitcoin payments service, made a big announcement at the Bitcoin 2023 conference. They expanded their availability to 65 more countries, introduced support for receiving funds in U.S. dollar equivalents (USDT), and unveiled a redesigned app with a cleaner interface and a new logo. According to Strike's VP of Product, they now have an effective reach of 3 billion people, allowing for instant money transfers using the Lightning Network.
In addition to their expanded global presence, Strike's updated app also functions as a Lightning wallet for buying and selling bitcoin. CEO Jack Mallers emphasized the company's goal of providing a reliable cash balance for the global south and criticized traditional banks. The launch was accompanied by simplified sign-up processes and the inclusion of a stablecoin for those unfamiliar with Bitcoin.

For the first time in US history, both a Republican and Democrat presidential candidate, announced they will accept Lightning donations for their campaigns.
They both used @OpenNode which is real #Bitcoin tech. Slowly then suddenly.
