MicroStrategy Acquires Additional 1,045 Bitcoin
Guess who's back with more Bitcoin? That's right, Michael Saylor and his MicroStrategy crew have gone on another shopping spree and now own over 140,000 Bitcoins. Saylor is basically a perma-bull who can't get enough Bitcoin. This time, they splurged $29.3 million in cash to add 1,045 more Bitcoins to their stash.
At this rate, I'm pretty sure Saylor's ultimate goal is to become the first human to own more Bitcoins than Satoshi. The funny part is, even if Bitcoin only goes up 6%, Saylor and his gang will break even. But hey, they're not planning on selling anytime soon, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see if Saylor can resist the urge to go shopping again.
New P2P Trading Record Set By RoboSats
Amid an uncertain regulatory landscape and the closure of custodial P2P bitcoin platforms such as LocalBitcoins and Paxful, non-custodial P2P platforms are emerging as promising alternatives. Platforms like Robosats are gaining momentum and experiencing notable success.
Robosats is a peer-to-peer, non-custodial Bitcoin exchange which recently had the best month.
Some TLDR below:
Lightning-powered P2P trading platform exchanged nearly 29 BTC in March.
The platform facilitated 2537 contracts in March, with the average trade size being approx. 0.0114 BTC.
