🔥 Bitcoin Core Version 25.0 Released with Exciting Features and Enhanced Security!

Bitcoin Core version 25.0 has been released, offering new features, bug fixes, and performance enhancements. Users can download the update from the official Bitcoin Core website or update their existing installations. Notable changes include the ability to conduct transactions of non-witness size 65 bytes and above, which expands transaction use cases and improves protection against vulnerabilities. Another addition is the scanblocks RPC, enabling fast wallet rescans by returning relevant blockhashes. The release also introduces improvements to the build system, updated settings, and new features like the shutdownnotify option and additional control over UTXO confirmations.

Bitcoin Core 25.0 brings various improvements to enhance user experience and software security. Users are advised to report any bugs they encounter to the official GitHub issue tracker. The software is widely supported and tested on Linux, macOS, and Windows but should not be used on unsupported systems. Users must ensure they are running a compatible operating system before updating to the latest version and are encouraged to review the release notes for a comprehensive understanding of the improvements.

🇺🇸 Bitcoin Takes Center Stage in US Politics as Three Presidential Candidates Rally Behind Bitcoin

Bitcoin has gained support from three US presidential candidates: Robert Kennedy Jr., Vivek Ramaswamy, and Ron DeSantis. Kennedy Jr. was the first to announce his intention to protect the Bitcoin industry and accept Bitcoin donations, although he is not the first US candidate to do so. All three candidates oppose President Biden's plan to tax Bitcoin mining and emphasize the importance of preserving the freedom to mine and use Bitcoin. They criticize the current administration's stance on Bitcoin and advocate for a more supportive approach.

The possibility of having a pro-Bitcoin president in 2024 depends on one of these candidates winning their party nominations. If either DeSantis or Ramaswamy secures the Republican nomination and Kennedy Jr. wins the Democratic nomination, the United States could have a president who supports the freedom to use Bitcoin. The increasing number of candidates advocating for pro-Bitcoin policies reflects the growing influence of Bitcoin in US politics.
